Installing Java
The JRE is required to run BF2 launcher. You can download this at
java.com/getjava
Configuring BF2 directory
When you first run BF2 launcher it will attempt to locate your bf2 installation (default is C:\Program Files\EA Games\Battlefield2\). If the installation is not found you will be prompted. You must select the folder in which your BF2.exe and mod folders reside.
Selecting Mod
BF2 Launcher supports launching and detecting multiple BF2 modifications. Modifications that are found in the default BF2 mods folder
are automatically added to the list of available modifications within BF2 Launcher.
Configuring Options
Fullscreen
Run BF2 in fullscreen or windowed.
Disable intro movies
Disable the introduction movies and logos.
Draw FPS
Draw the FPS and average FPS in the top left corner of the screen when ingame.
Low priority
Run BF2 with a lower priority.
Multiple instances
Run multiple instances of the BF2.exe process.
Username / Password
If you want to automatically login and join a server you are required to input your username and password.
Server Details
Join a server automatically. Requires a username and password input using the username/password dialog.
